A Literary Lawyer (Darrell Morrow)

I have long believed that a lawyer's opponent in a complicated transaction is the best judge of that lawyer's abilities and effectiveness. I had the good fortune to oppose Steve in two significant transactions. I found him to be unfailingly honorable, well prepared, industrious, wise, affable, and cheerful, along with being highly effective in representing his clients. It was also a great pleasure to be in the presence of a fellow reader, one on whom even the remotest allusion to literature, both ancient and modern, never went unappreciated (or at least unnoticed if not fully appreciated), with a small smile or slight nod or sometimes with a playful grimace.
